Happy New Year! I am back after a long four months off. I can't believe our baby girl is now over four months old. I have started taking pictures again but I am starting out slow. For now I am only offering children and baby sessions. I will keep everyone updated as to when I will be starting family sessions again. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. I am a little behind on blogging so here is a shoot from back in July '09. What a cute brother and sister. I love red heads!! Enjoy....

Even though I am taking a break from photo sessions, I am still designing Christmas Cards this year. So if you need a quick card design, let me know!!

W Family

Cutest family, sassiest little girl, and one sweet baby boy. These troopers drove down from Tucson with a newborn baby to get some pictures taken as a family. It was a fun-filled photo session full of diaper blow-outs, naked buns, and two patient parents.

My Boys

Gotta love when they actually look like they love each other.

M & M Engaged (well actually married!)

A while back I did these two love birds engagement session. They were so fun and giggly. They were such great sports as I drug them around to about four different locations. They were up for anything. It was a little warm outside but we all survived. They even treated me to a cold DP from QT on the way home. M & M were married in August (I am so sad that I missed their reception but that just happened to be the same day the our little baby girl was born). Thanks for the fun shoot guys, I hope your big day was perfect!

I think this has to be my favorite age to photograph. I love a 6 month old baby. They can sit up but usually can't crawl away yet. I love little B and her cute round face. Don't you just want to squeeze her?

What can I say. These kiddos are too cute for words. I did a shoot with these kids and their mom's sister and her family too. It was fun for all the cousins to be together and to help each other be happy during the shoot. I will be posting the sister's family shots too, so check back for more cuties!

This beautiful family used to live two doors down from us and now they have moved back to California. We did this photo shoot right before the move and before they knew that their family was going to be blessed with TWINS! I can't wait to see these cute babies! Little R is going to be a great big sister. We miss you H Family.

P & H Engaged!

This was a very fun engagement shoot. P & H's wedding is going to be very colorful and she wanted color for her engagements too.

C Family

This family was all in town for one weekend and wanted some family pictures together. It had been stormy for a few days and I was a little worried that we would get rained out. It ended up being a partly cloudy morning and barely started sprinkling as we were wraping up. I guess luck was on our side. Now if only we could get the twins to be happy at the same time.

These kids are a dream. So sweet and easy going. Little H is lucky to have 2 big brothers to look after her. Just recently their Daddy has passed away. My heart goes out to them and their family.

This is my cute niece and nephew in their Easter outfits too. There is a third on the way for this family so next year might be a little more interesting with a baby added into the shoot.

I am a little behind on posting. These are from around Easter time. These kiddos are my friend Al's cuties. Little J wasn't too thrilled about the whole event, but we managed to get her distracted for a few seconds. I love the colors they wore. So spring!

I have been archiving my photos and came across this family and realized that I forgot to post my favorite photo of them. Could they be any cuter? M is a great friend of mine and we date all the way back to the fifth grade (but if you ask her she might say that 5th didn't count). This photo will be outdated soon. M is due with another girl at the end of the summer. Can't wait to see what baby girl #2 looks like!

I am glad C's mom was up for hiking through dirt and sand to get to our photo destination because I think it was worth it. What a cutie.

And here is L in all her spunk. She was so excited to be outside and running around. I had to be very quick on my feet for this one.

Best Friends

At the same time I did Hallie's photo shoot we did her best baby friend "L" too. I worked out pretty well, when one would start to cry or run away I would just turn my camera to the other. At the end we got some sweet shots of the two friends together. Too cute.

I think I am a little behind on posting. These are from Feb. when we went to visit my sister in California. I did one year old pictures for my sister and her friend's little girls. They were so fun to chase around for the morning. And I LOVE Pasadena. I could find new photo spots there for weeks. Here are some of my favorites.

If you zoom in on this one you can see her single tear rolling down her cheek. Every time my sister would walk away, Hallie would start to cry. She is one mama's girl.

And every time she put her down she wanted to be picked right back up. I love this one of her reaching for her mama.

I have done a few shoots with babies that are just out of that new-newborn stage and love it. Although they aren't as sleepy and are awake most of the time, they can hold their head up and even smile. This little guy was an angel the whole time.

A 5 year old's Birthday

This is K. She just turned 5. I was asked to photograph her 5th birthday party. This was a first for me, but ended up being a lot of fun.

The night before the party we took her 5yr old portraits.

The party was at the park with a live petting zoo. I love this shot of K's cousin feeding the lama.

K really got into her present opening. I love how she concentrated with her tongue hanging out.

K shared her party with her cousin who's birthday is only a couple days away from hers. Here they are getting ready to blow out their candles together.

I think would like to specialize in 5 year old girl photography. Little K was so cute and cooperative. I loved all of her sassy little faces.

I think this is the season for babies. I have done a lot of newborns lately. I love how every baby is completely different. They are only this tiny and pure for such a short time.

I love moms and their babies. There is just something about the connection between a mother and her child. The best part is capturing it on camera.

Little P

...Well not so little anymore. That is what we called her when she was two. My cousin, P was always my photo subject when I was in school. Even at two years old she loved to get her hair done and pose for a picture. I can't believe that she is a tween now! And a gorgeous one at that. I just can't get enough of her red hair. I had to post a lot from the shoot because I just couldn't decide. Thanks P for letting me boss you around for a half hour and sorry for hurting your back on the chain link fence (even though the picture was worth it, right?).

This was one of her favorites... apparently VANS are the thing if you are in the sixth grade.

It was a little breezy that day... sometimes the wind is on my side.

T&R's Wedding

My Brother in Law was married on December 20th... We had their photo shoot the day before the wedding. They were married in Snowflake, AZ and it was freezing cold. On the picture day the temp. was 35deg. and it was super windy which made it feel more like 25deg. to me. I was bundled in a down coat and gloves.... needless to say the bride and groom were not so warm. I told them that the photos would be worth it... I hope I was right.

I loved this family's shoot. The oldest little boy was such a character and was making me laugh the entire time. I love this shot of him squeezing his little brother.

20 minutes, one grandma (with a puppet and M&M's), one mom with a camera and this is what you get. I decided to be lazy this year and just put the kiddos on the Christmas card.

I love when the moms come prepared with different ideas to wrap the babies in. This mom had some fun fabrics to choose from. Isn't she sweet.

This adorable 2 month old was so sweet. She got a little upset after the third outfit change and had to be comforted by mom.

I think this is my very FAVORITE shot of mom and her three girls.

We first attempted to do some family pictures for this cute family but failed due to a bike wreck, a late nap, and an unhappy little girl. But a couple days later and a new morning time and we ended up with some great shots! I just love these cute little girls and their bright green sweaters.

So Sweet. I was amazed how this little newborn had such perfect smooth skin.

I did a shoot with this little girl and her newborn sister. L was so cute and spunky! I loved all of her many faces.

Nativity Babies

This Grandma decided that she wanted her grandkids dressed as Mary and Joseph for her Christmas card. I thought it was such a creative idea. I loved the way they turned out. The babies were pretty cooperative too (it only took a little candy to keep them happy).

This was quite the fun photo shoot. Full of laundry mats, a blonde wig, and one willing family! I couldn't get enough of little C and her sassiness. I am holding back on showing my fav shot because I think it is the pick for the Christmas card. So maybe later.

Look at these two adorable little girls. Don't they look perfect? The oldest one was not in the mood for picture taking. Grandma and grandpa came along to help out and by the end was bribing her with a cupcake. She was so happy when it was finally over and she got to enjoy her pink, sparkly treat.

10 days old and oh so sweet. He was awake the whole time and was totally mellow and wide eyed. Good Job Baby B.

R Family

This family was so cooperative and put together. I love how they turned out it was hard to pick some favorites.

Their oldest boy was getting baptised the following week so we got some shots with him and his Book of Mormon. Doesn't he look like a future missionary?

'Tis the season for pictures. I have been pretty busy lately with photos. These kiddos were so cute. I loved that one of the oldest boys was totally mad for the entire shoot. I did get him to crack a smile for just a few shots. And this cute little girl is so lucky to have all these brothers to look after her.

Hallie

I took some pics of Hallie Babe while she was in town. This girl is hilarious.... she has so may expressions. She was not very happy about the camera so we gave her some beads to calm her down. It kind of backfired on us though, she would not take them off and if we tried she started to cry. Needless to say we finished with some cute shots of her and her beads. I love the one with the huge smile on her face, as if to say "hooray I got my way!"
